What the site is

PhysicianAds is a reference. It describes advertising venues, their published prices and terms, physician pay from federal data, and the rules that apply to physician advertising. It does not sell advertising on those venues, place physicians, or act for any reader or any venue.

Prices and facts change

Every price and fact carries the date it was read on its source. Venues change their prices and terms without notice, so confirm the current price with the venue before you buy anything. A figure labelled as an estimate or as unconfirmed is exactly that.

Not legal, financial or medical advice

Rules pages summarize rules and cite their source; they are not legal advice. Pay figures and calculators are general information, not financial or employment advice. Nothing on the site is medical advice. For a decision that matters, read the source and ask a qualified professional.

Links and referrals

The site links to the venues and public bodies it describes. A link is not an endorsement, and we are not responsible for another site’s content or terms. Where we use a venue’s referral program, the listing says so, and a referral never changes a listing’s facts, order or verdict. Sponsored placements, when they run, are labelled.

Quoting and citing the site

You are welcome to quote short passages and to cite figures from the site, with a link to the page you used. Please do not copy whole pages, tables or data sets, or present them as your own.

Messages you send

When you send a suggestion or a correction, you let us use the facts in it to update the site. Do not send patient information or anything confidential. The privacy policy says how messages are handled.

No warranty

We check what we publish, but the site is provided as it is, without any warranty that it is complete, current or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from relying on it.
